Protein skimming is essential for providing optimum water quality. Water and
air flow levels and ratio are critical to the efficiency of a skimmer
MAX contains a full filtration system including a professional Turbo
Skimmer, delivering Coral Reef Spec performance of 3x/hr turnover,
and a 3:1 water to air ratio.

the water volume through the skimmer more than 3 times per hour at an
