Snapper Hybrid Pump
A great external water pump with a variety of applications for the aquarium. This pump is a great choice if you are thinking of upgrading to a larger aquarium in the future. The Snapper Hybrid has the added bonus of coming with a Dart conversion kit (3600 GPH)...so it can be operated either as a Snapper or Dart!

It can be valved back for even lower power consumption. The Snapper Hybrid is great for closed loop reef systems requiring high turnover. The Snapper Hybrid is quiet like the Dart but it consumes 35% less wattage. This pump is rated for moderately low head pressure and a maximum flow rate of 2500gph, shut off head of 10.5 feet and a maximum wattage of 98W/0.9A. The low speed, 1/8 HP A.O. Smith motors have extremely low heat transfers.
