Red Sea Iodine I2 Pro Test Kit
Iodine act as an antioxidant and oxidative agent within the soft tissue and mucus layer of corals, reducing the possibility of coral bleaching. In active reef systems, Iodine is depleted quickly due to the high oxidative ability and reactivity with organic materials. Iodine is related to the pink chromo-protein (pocciloporin) and is an important element for maintaining coral coloration.

Ideal iodine level for reef aquariums is right around 0.06 ppm. This test kit is part of Red Sea's Reef Coloration Program and allows accurate discovery of iodine levels in your reef tank.
