Aqua Medic CO2 Reactor 1000 is a hermetically sealed unit for introducing CO2 into larger planted aquariums. This external (outside the aquarium) unit uses forced injection of CO2 by mixing it with the water and through a series of diffusing balls. This is the most efficient method for introducing CO2 into a freshwater planted aquarium with virtually no waste. This unit also has a CO2 vent valve. Its robust mounting plate enables it to be mounted outside the aquarium or inside the cabinet. This unit can be set up for use with a canister filter, return pipe / tube from a sump or with a dedicated powerhead.
