The Coralvue electronic ballast is very efficient and drives the lamp at the correct wattage to optimize lamp performance. Has connector socket for CoralVue reflectors and pendants. Dimmable ballast allows manual control of light intensity in your aquarium. The dimmable feature can be used to acclimate new corals in reef tanks by dimming the light, placing the new coral and then slowly raising the light level over several days.
