Maristar HQI and T5 Combo Light Fixture
Combination fixture using both HQI metal halide bulbs and T5 High Output fluorescent lamps. This allows you more flexibility with your aquarium lighting. Customize your lighting even further by choosing the style HQI ballast and type HQI/T5 HO bulbs you want. The Maristar fixture is available as a raw fixture only with no bulbs or HQI ballasts or you can add-on an HQI ballast, HQI lamps, T5 HO lamps and mounting/hanging hardware for a customized aquarium lighting solution.

The Maristar has a rust-proof aluminum body. Powder coated finish and stainless fasteners for long life. Adjustable stainless steel cable hanging system or tank mounting brackets are optional. Built in 80mm fans are quiet and cool fixture through unique air-flow design.

Sleek profile only 4.25 inches high by 13.75 inches wide allows the Maristar to fit most all aquarium widths.

The HQI light uses Reef Optix® design reflectors for highest output in its class. The reflectors utilize 95% reflective German aluminum. Most hobbyists use the 250w HQI lights for the primary lighting choosing either 14K or 20K lamps for the best color.

The Tek Reflector for T5 Lights increase output by over 300%. The T5 lamps act as supplemental lighting and increase the fluorescing (glowing) in certain corals. Use a mix of Actinic spectrums for best results (420nm and 460nm).
